My intention is to assist new business owners or entrepreneurs who are in the start up phase of their company or in that initial growth phase.
In fact if you haven’t started out yet then even better … and good for you. But for most of us, we start out then realize we are in over our heads – particularly with our understanding of finances.
After 10 years working in public practice, I have come to realize that my true passion lies in helping you, the small business owner realize your financial business potential.
When your small business has 5 times as much cash available to it, what does that mean for you?
Does hiring employees give you even more satisfaction as you now know you are impacting someone else’s life and growing the economy?
Would you be able to better support local causes?
Would you reinvest into your business or set up a Foundation for a cause?
My goal is to help the small business entrepreneur to see HOW understanding their own financial information can be a great asset and tool for growing their own company.
New business often see bookkeeping as an opportunity to DIY and save on expenses. Then they actually sit down to do it and realize it isn’t as straight forward as they thought. At that point they still want to do it themselves but don’t know where to start. To help you with your financial reporting I hold seminar sessions locally and write articles on specific topics with useful templates for business owners to use. In my blog you’ll find solutions to solving common DIY bookkeeping issues, and when your ready to hand your books over to someone else, my monthly services are designed to work within your budget.
GOOD FINANCIAL RECORDS HELP BUILD YOUR BUSINESS
You can work very hard at growing your business through various methods (work longer hours, spend more on advertising, change your prices) but if you aren’t tracking the numbers everything you are doing is inefficient. If you know what areas of your business are producing the best results you can focus your efforts and set firmer goals.
When you understand the numbers you can now:
Have greater control over the rate at which you grow (or wind down)
Have greater control over how you generate income
Have greater control over spending and expenses
Have greater control over your profit
